Woody Allen Back in The New Yorker

Filed under: Headline Shooter   Tagged:

With "Thus Ate Zarathustra." I can't believe it! This calls for a re-listen to his great sketch "Mechanical Objects," from Woody Allen, Standup Comic. Worth downloading, for money even.

I gotta say I was not very impressed by that New Yorker piece- it was pretty much a rehash of a piece he did a dozen years ago- Jean Paul Sartre's Cookbook, seen here in unattributed form: http://www.hellskitchen.com/sartre.htmSame setup, similar jokes, much funnier.

(I should add that the version on the web page has also been edited by someone who must have thought they were improving it)
