I couldn't be at the New Yorker Summit yesterday, but through the magic of Twitter, I have iron-clad verbal/visual evidence that the food served during the lunch break was "quite good for being in a box."
In an unprecedented (for Emdashes) follow-up "Twinterview" (wince), attendee Jed Cohen elaborated: "Steak sandwich + tortellini salad + cookies + apple = yummy. Thanks New Yorker/NYU catering!"
Cohen continued: "They also had a grilled vegetable wrap and some kind of chicken sandwich." (Can Emily confirm?)
Never doubt that Emdashes will provide muckraking of the first order!

They say that dashes “are particularly useful in a sentence that is long and complex.” Emdashes—like em dashes—provides a thoughtful pause amid the hubbub.
Emdashes, founded in 2004, is currently written and drawn by Emily Gordon, Martin Schneider, Pollux, Jonathan Taylor, and Benjamin Chambers, as well as occasional guest contributors. (Unsigned posts through October 2008 are by Emily Gordon.)
The site is designed and maintained by House of Pretty and illustrated by Jesse Ewing for Inkleaf Studio. Additional drawings are by Carolita Johnson and Pollux (who also draws our daily comic, "The Wavy Rule"). The kissable Emdashes logo is by Jennifer Hadley, based on a 1943 Dorothy Gray ad.

They were delicious! I have the same observation in my notes—there were Starbursts and Mary Jane candies in bowls, too, which was delightful. If readers are anxious for my report, I'm afraid they'll have to wait at least one more day--I'm closing TWO magazines and Print has a party tonight, too!
I'm anxious, at any rate! That excuse wouldn't have stopped the Terminator, though. I'm just saying. He/It would have (implacably, remorselessly) posted by now.....
